Job Description

Ad Quality and Inventory Quality are some of the critical parts for PubMatic’s overall business that enables PubMatic’s partners to confidently transact on PubMatic’s platform in a fraud free and brand safe way, while providing the necessary supply chain transparency on the inventory and the media. Such transparency and controls eventually help PubMatic and partners drive superior monetization with PubMatic. 

Ad Quality innovations provide publishers the controls to govern their users’ advertising experience in a way that is acceptable to users and that suits publishers brand safety concerns. 
Inventory Quality focuses on giving transparency and controls for PubMatic’s various demand side partners, such as DSPs, agencies, and advertisers to opt for the type of inventory and partners they would like to spend on, while providing the fraud free environment.  

You will take a lead in shaping the global product strategy for ad quality and inventory quality areas. You will participate in various industry forums, work with various vendors to learn about the new innovations and have a comprehensive grasp on trends and industry changes as it relates to driving the supply chain transparency for ad tech partners, provide fraud free and brand safe environment. You will help fuel the growth of key focus areas for PubMatic such as CTV and Video by providing the right ad experience desired by PubMatic’s partners. You will identify the product roadmap to drive innovations and execute on the same by successful cross-team collaborations, including various business and engineering teams.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a good grasp of publisher problems as it relates to Ad Quality and be the voice of PubMatic’s demand partners to provide superior Inventory Quality experience. 
  • Build holistic vision and strategy for Ad Quality and Inventory Quality areas. 
  • Methodically drive build vs. buy decisions to solve complex problems for PubMatic by evaluating various vendors vs. in-house tools. 
  • Stay abreast of ad-tech ecosystem evolution to identify the trends & discover new problems.
  • Identify the needs of the growth areas, particularly CTV and Video, to provide brand safe and fraud free environment for PubMatic partners.
  • Drive superior monetization by enhancing the brand safety signal sharing across partners in the eco-system. 
  • Drive efficiency improvements for internal operations teams. 
  • Manage end-to-end product development life cycle that includes building product roadmap, refining and documenting product requirements, driving engineering execution and carrying out GTM exercise for adoption and iterating as needed. 
  • Work with cross-functional Product Managers to repurpose the AQ/IQ tech built for PubMatic’s innovation areas, such as CTV, Video, Activate, Convert to drive organizational agility. 
  • Participate in industry forums and represent PubMatic. 

Requirements:

Qualifications :

  • 5-7 years of product management experience in cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in Ad Tech domain, preferably in Ad quality, Inventory quality, Video or CTV areas. 
  • Experience shaping product strategy, building, and managing products from ideation to launch to drive business outcome. 
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across a spectrum of internal and external audiences. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • Technology background is a big plus. 
  • Ability to work with global remote product and customer success teams and collaborating with external customers.
