The Director, Advertiser Solutions  is responsible for leading strategic relationships within Publicis. They will work with various teams within Publicis to sell the PubMatic platform as well as working with current partners to fulfill their business needs and optimize their potential for our publishers. Candidates should possess strong sales skills and have experience in managing existing clients.

The candidate should strive to exceed revenue targets through active selling, account management, program implementation and managing terms and expectations for new and existing clients.

The candidate would be required to effectively communicate at multiple levels from junior to top level executives, both internally and externally, globally. To be a leader in this environment will require the ability to quickly connect the dots between all functions and possess a deep understanding of PubMatic’s technology, service offerings, and capabilities.

Internally, the role requires close collaboration with the following groups: Activation, Technical Operations, Publisher Sales, Publisher Account Management, local and global Ad Solutions team members and the global Product Management teams.

What will you do?

  • Be an integral part of a high paced, hardworking, fun loving, global team
  • Define and execute the EMEA strategy for Publicis
  • Develop strategic relationships within PMX and the additional agencies
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and ongoing client management and entertainment
  • Work with Publicis agencies on a daily basis while providing excellent customer service including proactive media packaging of publisher opportunities resulting in higher publisher revenue
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing clients
  • Develop a strong understanding of PubMatic’s technology and media solutions from an intellectual and applied perspective; communicate the value proposition to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with multiple internal departments with a strong understanding for internal cross-functional communication/collaboration
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and grow your industry knowledge
  • Instil a culture of collaboration and accountability

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of related experience in sales, business development, and/or client success within an agency or advertising technology company
  • Proven history of developing and executing a strategy
  • Proven history of meeting ad exceeding revenue goals
  • Past experiences guiding deals that involve global collaboration between multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience and contacts within Publicis
  • Growth mindset: willing to take risks, ask questions, and even appear foolish in order to learn; not focused on status or authority
  • Solution leadership: able to shape the roadmap of features requested by clients and lead discussion in relationship with our Product Management and R&D team
  • Understand the dynamics of the sell-side, most notably operations of supply side platforms and ad serving tech
  • Superb communicator and service-oriented leader
  • Ability to present effectively to C-level executives and confidently navigate challenges
  • Ultra-high EQ
